The Course of the Danube
Over almost 3,000 kilometres, the Danube connects ten countries and many of Europe’s cultural regions.
The Danube begins in Germany’s Black Forest and flows through Central and South-Eastern Europe to the Black Sea. Its course takes it through Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova and Ukraine.
